Florida (the Short Version)

Ella Says: I really liked glazing my ceramic reptiles. It was fun to play in the pool when we got back. I also liked going to the beach both of the days I went there-- it was fun. Especially the second day because I went into the deep water with Dad and we jumped over and under waves because sometimes when there was a really big wave we had to go under it. We also played in the kiddie pool. There was a playground in the zoo and a cave that was supposed to be a turtle den-- it was fun in there. I liked feeding the giraffe and I liked seeing the kookaburra in the bird section of the zoo. I really liked all the animal shows at Sea World. What I mean by that is the dolphin show, the whale show, and the sea lion show. There was also a pet show I liked with all those pets. I really liked teh dolphin show. It was called Blue Horizons and I just liked it. It was fun. I really really liked the jelly fish ride. I also liked climbing the pirate nets but it was really high so I liked it. I went on my first roller coaster, too! It was a small one, though. I liked it at the end, but not at the beginning. And the days we stayed home we played a lot and it was really fun playing with my siblings outside and in the pool. I also liked talking to Grandpa-- he's really nice to talk to. And once we had pudding for dessert after supper!

Lucy Says: I really liked the ceramic place-- painting my princess and giraffe. We used super stinky glue to stick the giraffe to the princess. The beach was really fun jumping over the waves and making a seaweed fridge and it's made out of a bucket of water and sand in the bucket of water and we put seaweed in it and then we took it out and dried it on a hot piece of coquina. Coquina, coquina, coquina! We were so happy, sang this song: "We found coquina! We found coquina! We found coquina!" At the very end we say "COQUINA!" Then we had to leave the beach. The kiddie pool was great. We even bought new water guns. And we even washed the car before we left Florida. That was after Sea World, though. And we washed the shells from the beach. We got to go to Children's Church and watch a movie and eat animal crackers while drinking water while watching the movie. The giraffes were fun to pet and feed them. Fun! It was really fun feedin the giraffe and petting the giraffe's nose. I liked when I had to wash my hands in sanitizer. I like giraffes! And I liked the giraffe stuff they had there. And I even saw one of the giraffe toys I have at home! Grandma's & Gradpa's popper toy and other stuff were fun. Really fun. Even the pool. Clyde and Seamore were really silly! It was a show where we got to watch sealions do silly tricks to get fish and another pirate came up on stage and said "we were marooned!" and her shirt was the color maroon! When Shamu popped up I said, "SHAMU! SHAMU!" It was so fun! The whales jumped and performed. And when no other whales came out, Shamu came out! The big one! The reason that everybody else came there but us. The dolphin show was great, especially with that girl it it wearing pink-- swimming and flying. It was really fun and interesting. Shamu's Happy Harbor was great! It had pirate nets that I loved climbing. And I climbed right to the top, but I wasn't scared, but my sister probably was. And she wanted to climb down and tell Mommy, but I wanted to stay up, up, up! The Jellyfish ride was awesome, but I was a little scared on the freefall. It was too scary for me because I wasn't holding hands with Daddy and facing Daddy and I didn't say "Woo" like Mommy did. We got at Happy Harbor a picture with Shamu and some turtle guy, but I don't know the turtle guy's name. And next time I go to Shamu's Happy Harbor, I'll go on the free fall and say "Woo!" everytime I start to go down. But it's kind of scary for me to go on it.

Fred Says: Grandpa's zoo have monkeys and da giraffes and two giraffes at the zoo. The giraffes eat the graham cracker like us eat graham crackers. The sea lion pirates have lots of sea lion pirates. The orcas whales jump in da pool! The divers said "Oh, let's jump in da pool!" Da sea lions havin a show, jup in the pool. Da doplhins SPLASH! We splash in Grandpa's little orangey orange pool. Go in Grandpa's house.
